APHA Academy of Pharmaceutical Science and Research (APHA-APRS) Announces Election, USA
The results of APHA Academy of Pharmaceutical Science and Research (APHA-APRS) elections were announced. APHA-APRS elected Randall J. Voytilla in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, as President Elect for the Basic Sciences Section (2008-2009), Melody Ryan of Lexington, Ky., as president-elect of the Clinical Sciences Section (2008-2009) and David P. Nau, of Lexington, Ky., as President Elect for the section on economic, social and administrative sciences (ESA) (2008-2009). Randall J. Voytilla, PharmD Instructor is aggravating Pharmacy and Pharmacy at Duquesne University.He received his doctorate in pharmacy from Duquesne and a PhD. Currently serving as Eckerd pharmacist pharmacy in Pittsburgh. Voytilla APHA-APRS enjoyed service in various offices, including the section of Basic Sciences
Postgraduate Officer (2003-2004), Director of the Executive Committee of the third cycle (2004-2005), basic research and its individual members (2005 -2007 ). His recent research includes poster presentations and publications of the results of research on non-destructive prediction of the dissolution and disintegration of the tablets with near infrared spectroscopy.Melody Ryan, PharmD, MPH, received his degree of advancement of the University of Kentucky (UK). She completed her pharmacy practice residency at Duke University and a fellowship in neuroscience in the UK. She held positions of associate professor at UKs Faculty of Pharmacy, Division of Pharmacy Practice and Science and the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurology. His practice site is the clinic of
neurology at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Ryan received his certification in geriatric pharmacy in November 1998 and achieved Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist advice in 2000.David Nau, B. Pharm, Ph.D., is Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science at the University of Kentucky (UK), which also has a joint appointment in educational policy and public administration
