New breast cancer gene found
Scientists have discovered a gene that may trigger spontaneous cases of breast cancer and ovarian cancer. People who inherit faulty BRCA genes have an increased risk of developing both cancers, but the new gene, EMSY seems to close a fully functional BRAC - increasing risk in those not normally thought to be vulnerable.
